Under the theme of “Unleashing the Power of Food Technology”, Matching Day, a business and investor-matchmaking event organised by Hong Kong Startup Council, concluded with resounding success. 11 star-grade startups from the 4th STARS Programme pitched their tech-driven products on-day to exemplify the significant value additions to incumbent and emerging industries.

The event appealed to a wide spectrum of audience, ranging from industrialists across the food, environmental and advanced manufacturing verticals alongside tech-savvy companies, to business magnates in the startup ecosystem. At the event, our invited guests and startups engaged in insightful dialogues and fruitful idea exchanges, which could grow into R&D, co-creation and deployment possibilities. FHKI will continue mobilising traditional industries to seize the bandwagon of innovative technologies, so as to chart a path to industry upgrades and transformation.
