Riding on the success of the 1st Cohort - Internet of Things, the 2nd Cohort was fully supported by CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP), launched in August 2018 under the theme "Smart Energy and Eco-home". 12 startups hailed from Hong Kong, South Korea, Sweden and the US were selected for the 2nd STARS Programme to receive substantial support and mentorship from our collaborating partner CLP, industrialists and experts from the startups ecosystem. 

10 STARS were selected to pitch their latest products and solutions to investors at Jumpstarter, a major event organised by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund. Four startups of STARS Programme successfully made it to top 100 Hong Kong startups, and one of them even advanced to top 12. Besides, two startups have recently exhibited at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in the US. Our STARS successfully obtained expression of investment interests totalling HK$26 million and more at the event. Ambi Labs Limited from Hong Kong, LumenCache from the US and Xandar radar from South Korea proved to be the SuperSTARS by obtaining the most expression of investment interests.
